Shell'y is a project that deals with the experience and the feeling of home amongst children of divorce.
The project was created based on Hagar's own experience as a child of divorced parents, a child that experienced two homes, and is constantly searching and questioning the feeling - what is home for her.
The concept of home symbolizes, for the most, a feeling of safety, protection, privacy, a place to come back to, a warm and pleasant place - feelings that we are familiar with since we were in the womb.
The project emphasizes these feelings, and searches for ways to produce such feelings for a child.
A child of divorced parents is known as "a backpack child", a child that makes a daily journey between his two homes, he has one home with one parent and another with the second.
In his bag the child carries things he will need for one or more days, feeling as if he is going to camp to spend the night, and in the morning, he keeps on going and continues his journey.
The project offers the child a kit in which he can create his own home feelings and experience.
It includes:

An odor diffuser
Together they enable the child to create a home experience that raises feelings he can only feel at home.
The tent gives him security, defense and privacy.
The odor diffuser enables him to choose the smell he wants to have in his tent.
The use of smell gives the child and immediate connection with experiences and memories that aroused positive feelings in him.
